Zipper Interactive lukker

Vi fortalte tidligere på ugen, at der var snak om, at spilstudiet Zipper Interactive (Socom-serien, Mag, {Unit 13}) skulle lukke. Nu har Sony bekræftet sagen overfor Gameinformer.

Angiveligt er dette dog et resultat af at de kontraktlige forpligtelser er opfyldt, og at ressourcerne fordeles. Sony lover at både {Unit 13} (med de daglige udfordringer), MAG samt SOCOM 4 alle fortsat vil blive supporteret.

"The closure is a result of a normal cycle of resource re-alignment within SCE WWS. Zipper has completed all work associated with its most recent project, {Unit 13} for PlayStation Vita. Zipper titles MAG, SOCOM 4 and {Unit 13} will continue to be supported, including the new Daily Challenges in {Unit 13}," skriver Sony.
